January 22, 2009 commemorated the  36th anniversary of Roe vs Wade, the U.S.
Supreme Court ruling which legalized abortion on demand.   One might have
thought with a pro-abortion President, local pro-lifers would be down and out.  On
the contrary, with the pro-aborts' victories last November, the local pro-life
movement is even stronger.

The turnout at the Annual March For Life in downtown Jacksonville was the largest
ever!  The March was attended by numerous spiritual leaders, many different
faiths, of all ages and race.  Over 500 pro-lifers attended the March, even though
it was held in the middle of a school and work day.   No pro-aborts were in
attendance.  Their full page ad in the
Folio Weekly claimed they were still in
Washington, D.C. celebrating the inauguration.

Many thanks to Mr. Fran Ruchalski,

wonderful images he captured at the March For Life!
